Christa's French Toast

1/2 cup milk
6 eggs
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon sugar
10 to 12 slices bread

Break eggs into a wide, shallow bowl, beat lightly with a fork. Stir in sugar, spices, and milk.

Heat griddle over medium heat, spray with no-stick spray.

Place the bread slices quickly one at a time into the bowl, then carefully turn to coat the other side. Coat only as many slices as you will be cooking at one time.

Transfer bread slices to griddle, cooking until bottom is golden brown. Turn and brown the other side. Serve French toast hot with butter and syrup.
