Hermion Fisher's Meatloaf

2 slices dried bread
1 small can tomatoe paste
1 large tsp minced onion*
2 tsp salt
1-2 lbs ground beef
2 eggs

Put all ingredients in bowl except for ground beef. Let the bread get moist by sitting with the other ingredients for a while. Mix in the beef by squishing the mixture through your fingers. Be sure bread is thoroughly mashed. Mold into loaf.

Place loaf on greased pie pan. Bake in moderate oven (350°) 1 hour or until brown.
