Pancakes, Grandma Dorothy's
1 1/2 cups flour
pinch salt
3 tbsp sugar
1 3/4 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp melted butter
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tbsp vegetable oil
3 egg whites whipped to soft peaks
Sift together dry ingredients into a large bowl.
Combine wet ingredients, then quickly mix into dry ingredients.
Fold in whipped egg whites.
Make pancakes!
Use the left-over egg yolks in an omelette for the grownups!
