Rhubarb Sauce

At least one pound of rhubarb, washed, dried, and cut into 1/2 inch chunks
1 to 1 1/4 cup sugar
1/2 inch water in the bottom of the sauce pan

Bring to boil, let simmer on low, stir occasionally, cook until soft.
